Security Guardian AES 256-bit Encryption Device
he Security Guardian is a USB powered Encryption Device. It allows a user toencrypt up to 128GB of data on a virtual disk created by the Security Guardiansoftware. Encryption is accomplished via AES 256-bit encryption. AES wasannounced by National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) as USFederal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) PUB 197 in November 26, 2001after a 5-year standardization process. AES 256-bit encyrption is currently theonly available encryption standard to protect information classified up to the Top Secret level.Security Guardian also provides additional protection via Strong Two-Factor Authentication. A combination of something you have (Security Guardian Key)and something you know (Password) is Two-Factor Authentication, and is much better than typical password software protection. When the Security Guardian is removed from your PC or Laptop, the virtual drive and all data contained therein are no longer visible or accessible. Only you may access the virtual drive and its data via your unique Security Guardian Key. All Security Guardian Devices havetheir own unique hardware password, and this prevents any other SecurityGuardian Device from accessing your data.
